HOW TO INSTALL YOUR BRAND NEW *AMSTR THEME* FOR NIBBLEBLOG

1. Make a copy of your /html folder and /includes folder in your NibbleBlog instalation and save it somewhere safe so you can use them later when changing themes again.

2. Download and unzip the amstr theme.

3. Copy the amstr theme files into /html, /includes and /css folders.

4. Go to your NibbleBlog admin and in settings change the appearance theme to amstr.

5. ENJOY!

I wonder how i can do thing i mentioned in subject. What i mean:

I have site, lets say: http://mysite.com
NibbleBlog is installed in: http://mysite.com/news

I want to show 5 latest titles of posts from NibbleBlog (http://mysite.com/news) on main site (http://mysite.com) as a links to the news site.

Or maybe better explaination:
Go to: admin/post.php?pag=list.
I want to have such list of posts on mysite.com, not only on mysite.com/news

How can i do that? I thought it was easy with include function and changing some php files, but it's not so easy. My mind is in the middle of nowhere, and i have no idea how to do that.

I need to build a MeetUp-like site where the blog part would actually be events to which registered members of the site can sign up AND the forum would be the place where they can talk. Obviously, they should only have to create an account once.

I like the fact that NibbleBog is fast and easy, and that it uses PunBB.

1. Does it support single sign-on, so that users can eg. post comments in blog entries AND post in the forum?

2. If not, as a work-around, I could add some code from PunBB in the template of the blog to include a login form which would call a PHP script.
In that case: Does NibbleBlog support updating a blog entry through code, so that the PHP script can add/remove the user from an event, and update the entry?

I just installed the NibbleBlog on a free web page provider. After the installation, I tried to login with my user name and password, it won't let me login.

I installed on a NAS, and it works just fine.

Where file does the username and password stored? I need to check.

I found the file, which is under /content/private/shadow.php

I think its about ISP's file permission, the read/write/execute. I change some permission, still can't login... it telling me that the user name and pasword not match.
